We bought a home from PH at their Townhill road site, completed Aug 2021. We were kept informed of progress through the build (during pandemic no less!) and welcomed onsite on multiple occasions to see progress and discuss amendments we proposed to the build plans, such as not fitting certain walls and going open plan and indeed adding a door where none existed. PH were happy to accommodate such requests. We also had additional work we requested carried out by PH, which was not on the plan, such as extending the Ethernet network, adding more lights. Again, PH were happy to help. You would not have such chances to amend your house, if buying from a large scale builder and you almost certainly would not be allowed on multiple site visits. The house is of a high quality build standard - having bought new build before from large scale developers, I can confirm this quality throughout the house.From high skirting’s, coving throughout, to A level insulation and excellent sound proofing between floors, the quality is evident. We also have a great central heating system with a very large hot water tank, beyond our needs so never run out of hot water. Prior to the handover of the house, PH worked well with our tiler who needed access for 2 weeks, and PH performed multiple small tasks we requested in the run up to and post handover. After a year of living in the house, PH contacted us to arrange to carry out minor snagging works (decoration) readily and to our satisfaction. I’d be more than happy to purchase a home from PH. As I write this, it is the 8 of December a.m and is 0 deg C outside, and 20 Deg C inside my house. I’ve only put my central heating on for 2 hours an evening since start of December and not very evening either. This is a very warm house, delivered as promised by the A rating.
